Holiday Zoom Grief Ritual

$19.99

The holidays can be a turbulent time for many with the expectation of time spent with family and friends. If you are processing the loss of a loved one (or going through a rough time), it can be especially challenging to traverse the holly jolly holidays, if you aren’t feeling too jolly!

I am inspired to offer this 2 hour sacred & safe container of an online Zoom Grief Ritual to help ease the turbulence that can be evoked during this time period & help you feel less alone in the process. An online ritual can be quite effective to address & release grief.

You will not be alone in this sacred circle. It is important to speak our grief to release it. It is only when this is done that one can move forward to experience joy again.

Grief Rituals can be potent events to help release stored up grief whether it be the loss of a beloved human, animal, job, house, living situation or the grief about the current social and environmental situation. These days, we all are carrying an immense amount of grief. It can be a cathartic opportunity to release it in community, feeling held, heard and safe.

I will be creating safe space & doing simple exercises to release your grief in the sanctity of your own home. You can stay anonymous on the Zoom call with your camera off if you like.

Very important: Please be on time! I will stop accepting participants on Zoom at 15 minutes past the starting time. The purpose of this is to create safe space for all of the participants as a group.

About Tara

For those of you who don’t me, my name is Tara Coyote. Unfortunately, I have had an extensive experience with grief at a young age. There has been a cascade of loss in the last six years of my life when my best friend of 19 years died young from Leukemia, my other very close friend/family member died two years after that from cancer and given that I’ve been journeying with late stage breast cancer for over 6 years now, I have experienced the deaths of countless young friends from cancer. In the spring of 2019, I was recommended to Hospice and faced the reality of my own death. I am very grateful to be alive and well now! I share my story in my bestselling memoir ‘Grace, Grit & Gratitude: A Cancer Thriver’s Journey from Hospice to Full Recovery with the Healing Power of Horses’.

I led ‘Grief Rituals with Horses’ for many years at my horse retreat center ‘Wind Horse Sanctuary’ and was fortunate to travel the globe teaching this powerful work. I have also trained other equine facilitators to teach the horse grief work.

On a personal note, both my parents died within a four month time period of each other in this last year and I understand more than ever how challenging the holidays can be for grievers. I will be present with you, holding space and also present for my own grief. After years of holding grief rituals in person and on Zoom, I have learned how to find this balance.
